MODULE 4

Grow Through Trauma

Nurturing a supportive relationship with yourself means respecting all parts of yourself – even those you might not want to connect with. Learning to respect and work with all your parts can serve as an empowering foundation for your health and healing journeys.

Make Space for Healing

Moving through trauma(this link opens in a new window/tab)  requires resilience and resourcefulness, so be patient with yourself as you shed light on past experiences. Know that you’re empowered to move through difficult experiences and situations in ways that support your current needs and desires; there’s no right or wrong way. Also know that your past does not have to define who you are. You have the power to shift your story. Honor your past experiences, support yourself in the present, and empower yourself in your ongoing personal growth. Take it small step by small step, and as always, reach out to trusted sources for support(this link opens in a new window/tab) when needed. When healing trauma, it’s always important to reach out for professional support.

Check out Honor Yourself: Trauma and Integration(this link opens in a new window/tab)  to learn more about trauma and how to support healing. Note: When healing from trauma, it’s always important to make sure you feel ready as well as fully supported. You can always return to this PDF later if you don’t feel ready right now.
